Print Price List
Purchasing Prints
Prices for our prints are based upon printing method, size and any options you might choose. The list below is intended to give you a general idea of costs for typical print choices, but your situation might call for something a bit different. We invite you to contact us, or stop by, so we can help tailor the presentation of our prints to your situation.
Custom-Crafted Archival Giclée Prints
We have a small inventory of framed giclée prints on display in our studio. These are available for immediate sale. We offer three standard frame sizes to meet a variety of display requirements. Unframed prints are intended for a particular frame size but mat and frame selections are up to you. Most of our images look best on high quality photographic papers (gloss, satin or lustre) and that’s how we normally print them. To accommodate a mat, the image size is smaller than the frame size. Actual paper size varies depending on which paper and printer we use, but we always provide at least 1/2” clearance on each side of the printed image to allow for mounting.
If we don’t have what you want we can usually prepare a print within a few days. Some of our prints are available in numbered, limited editions, or we can tailor image size and/or print media to your specifications if you prefer. Please inquire about panoramas, other unusual sizes and paper options.
For unframed prints, in sizes other than listed below, cost is based on the paper size required to fit your specified image size. We can adjust the size of an image but not the aspect (height to width) ratio. Canvas and premium fine art papers, if an image can accommodate such media, add somewhat to the cost.
“Frame size” denotes the dimensions of the mat and/or glass that is placed into a standard picture frame. The outer dimensions of that frame will always be larger, and will vary according to the width of the moulding used for the frame. The “image size” denotes the dimensions of the actual printed area (the image) on the paper. The image is normally viewed through a “window” in the mat. The window may be somewhat larger than the image size, allowing the viewer to see the entire image, bordered by the paper it is printed on, or the window can slightly cover the edges of the image to provide a more seamless look. We, or a skilled framer, can help you sort through the options.

Special Print Presentations
Metal prints and acrylic face-mounted prints are borderless and mounted, ready to hang without a traditional frame. Because of this, direct comparisons are not possible but costs are comparable to our framed giclée prints. The commercial photo lab we work with for these products offers a dizzying array of options - far too many to list here. Since we we can’t produce these products “in house”, they must be special ordered and require extra time for production and shipment. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.
Shipping
We are happy to ship prints (rolled in a tube), or any of our special presentation products. Due to breakage concerns we do not ship items containing glass. Shipping fees depend upon shipping method, please inquire for a quote.
Payment
We accept major credit cards, cash and local checks. 8% sales tax applies to all print sales. No returns on custom-crafted prints or special orders.
Prints Ordered Directly From The Vertical Perspectives Photography Web Site
Print orders directly via our web site, when we permit them, are completed entirely online. All available options and prices are listed so you can select what you want. Payments are made online, securely. Production and shipping times, as well as guarantees, are provided by the print lab, not by Vertical Perspectives Photography. Although we have no direct control over prints ordered from the commercial print lab we work with via web site, we chose them because we believe they provide high quality, at a fair price, and good service. If you have any concerns please don't hesitate to contact us.
